Painfully obvious

Beth's wedding was great, as expected--the rain stopped in time for the ceremony, Beth looked fantastic, and I had a really good time. Mike and I enjoyed our little weekend get-away, and though I didn't see him for most of the day Saturday it was still nice to have that time. Now it's back to the grind. We're barely recovered from the weekend and Mike left for a conference this morning--I'm beginning to wonder if this will ever end.

The weather is getting a bit fallish though, and that makes me very happy. Evan has had homework every night this week, and I've been wearing a cardigan around the house. The boys are back to sleeping in pajamas instead of undies and t-shirts. Before you know it, there will be flannel sheets on the beds and the storm windows will be down. I think I might even take a hot bath tonight.
