It's been a rough two weeks here at our house--Mike's been traveling a lot, and the boys have been fighting a lot as they adjust to all the togetherness that summer brings. Our washing machine broke, which is a near tragedy given the amount of laundry we do, and the new one won't be here until the end of the month (of course, I'm just thankful that we could get a new one!). We're all sneezing over something that's flying around outside. Whine, moan, complain.
Of course, I feel all better every time I watch the video of the Pens winning the Stanley Cup. What a fantastic moment. And that's made our already hockey crazy kids even more so, and it's been great. The boys fight over who is Crosby and who is Malkin when we play in the street, (though sometimes now Evan is Talbot), and Ev even made a Cup banner to hang over our stairs.
Ev lost his other top front tooth yesterday, which has resulted in the super cute giant gap in his mouth. The new guy is coming in quickly, so I'm taking the boys out today for a quick photo shoot to try and capture the moment. I've been meaning to take them to have professional photos done, but I'm not really happy with any of the local studios lately and all of the hassle that goes along with that, so maybe Mike and I can take the kids outside with the digital camera and work some magic there.
And at this moment, I have a house to clean and need to run to the store for allergy meds and the boys want to go outside and ride bikes. Days go by.
